Cultural
Worker

Miles has been at the front of many cultural movements within Chicago. His work has been pictured in the New York Times and Chicago Tribune. It is a firmly held belief of Miles that for those privlidged enough to have a voice, "Silence is Violence." Many of us have privileges that we take for granted on a day to day basis, and Miles works to use his to create spaces for disenfranchised and often silenced voices to speak up and out. From holding workshops in Chicago neighborhoods that are often overlooked by artistic institutions, to organizing marches, to aiding in union negotiations, Miles shows up and out for any voices that he can. Consider visiting some of those organizations below.
